Gives an illusion of a color pattern

Pattern- The repetition of a visual element or module in a regular and anticipated sequence.

Texture- The surface quality of objects that appeals to the tactile sense.

The rocks in this image look real the way the artist overlay the paint

Tactile Texture- The use of materials to create a surface that can be felt or touched.

If the observer touched this painting, they would feel like they are really touching flowers on a tree

Visual Texture- A two-dimensional illusion suggestive of a tactile quality.

I like the illusion that if i touch this I might just get a splinter

Collage- An artwork created by assembling and pasting a variety of materials onto a two-dimensional surface.

I love shoes and anything that has to do with fashion. The shoe is made of different clothing patterns and the background is clips from fashion articles

Verisimilitude- Accuracy or faithfulness in depiction or representation.

You can get the sense of the moist fruit and the wetness of the water in the glass

The rose vines seem to be coming inside the window

Trompe l’oeil- A French term meaning “to fool the eye.” The objects are in sharp focus and delineated with meticulous care to create an artwork that almost fools the viewer into believing that the images are the actual objects.
